Women Development Society organized various training to the rural women from Balambu, Bhoshigaun and Satungal of Kathmandu to improve their skill and income for sustainable relief and recovery from that natural disaster. These villages were heavily affected by earthquake in 2015, where more than 1200 houses were collapsed.

Women Development Society (WODES) participated in a Handicraft Exhibition from 25 to 29 November 2016. Around 10 thousand people visited the exhibition. WODES organized the exhibition to promote economic developent of rural women, to help them improve their income and improve their leadership qualities.
