Doleshwor Mahadev, Bhaktapur is believed to be the head part of Kedarnath located in India. Many devotees visit this temple during Monday and Saturday seeking blessings and spiritual enlightenment. The main image is a stone regarding as Shiva. There are other temples like Hanuman, Manakamana, Ganesh, Durga etc. There are some big images of Naag, Trident, Tong, damaru and three images of Nandi that is believed to be the favourites of Lord Shiva. It is believed that whispering their wishes and prayers into Nandi's ear, trusting he will convey them directly to Shiva. There are other small temples that are still under construction. Behind the temple, there are 108 shiva lingas opposite to Manakamana temple. The temple is near to downhill forest so people can enjoy fresh surrounding. Taking photos inside the temple is strictly prohibited. You can take a bus from Suryabinayak bus stop or take your own ride. The roads are pretty good and the temple is clean and well maintained.
