Rakta Kali temple is situated on the way to Nardevi, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is dedicated to Goddess Kali, one of the most fierce forms of goddess Durga. It is a small temple with a small stone image inside the temple. The temple is surrounded with other small idols of Gods and Goddesses like Hanuman, Bishnu, Ganesh etc. There is a school nearby so children can often be seen playing around the temple. The temple is usually open in the morning and a huge crowd can be seen during Tuesday and Saturday and especially during the festival of Dashain. People often come here seeking for courage and power to overcome their troubles.
