Jal Binayak temple is one of the Binayakas temple in Nepal. It is a three storeyed pagoda style temple that is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. The main image is a big stone decorated with ornaments. It is believed that the main deity is beneath the floor with water flowing. It is located at Chovar, Kathmandu, Nepal. People come to this temple There is also a image of Shiva Linga with Trident and an image of Rishi outside the temple. A big statue of Mushak (Bahan of Lord Ganesh) can also be seen in front of the temple. The most disappointing thing around this temple is that there is a river flowing just outside the temple which is very dirty and has very foul smell. There is also a big stone with small shiva linga. People believed it will cure the pain if they rub the pain area of the body against this stone. Taking picture of main deity inside the temple is prohibited.
