Subarneshwor Temple also called Luchu Mahadya is located in Bhaktapur, Nepal. It is a peaceful and serene place residing Lun chu Mahadya that blesses his devotees with gold.
It is believed that some farmers were cutting the grasses and one of the farmer used a stone to sharpen the sickle and that sickle turned into gold. Hearing this story, many people came in greed and tried to sharpen their sickle. Doing so, the stone got some cracks and no miracles happened. After that people started to worship as Lord Shiva. Now, there's some brass cover over that stone. Devotees visit this temple on Mondays. People who wants to stay hustle and bustle free city can enjoy this place. This place offers a great view of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan City which can be seen from the courtyard of this temple.
