A Fresh Start for My Garden
Cleaning the garden is one of those simple tasks that can make the whole outdoor space feel completely different. After winter or a busy season, fallen leaves, dry branches, weeds, and old plants can quickly make the garden look untidy. I usually begin by collecting leaves and removing dead plants from the flower beds. Then I trim overgrown branches and pull out weeds that have appeared around the paths and plants.
Another important step is cleaning the garden furniture and checking the condition of pots, tools, and decorations. A tidy garden is much more pleasant when everything has its proper place. After the main cleaning is finished, I loosen the soil and add fresh compost where necessary.
Although gardening can take several hours, the result is worth the effort. Fresh air, physical activity, and the satisfaction of seeing a clean garden make the work enjoyable. A well-kept garden also creates a comfortable space for relaxing, reading, or spending time with family and friends.
