Baldi's Basics
The horror edutainment parody game Baldi's Basics, which was released officially for the first time. This is not a game you can play casually.
American indie developer Micah McGonigal created a parody survival horror game called Fundamentals of Education and Learning by Baldi in 2018. It goes by several names, including Baldi's Basics and Baldi's Basics Classic. The game is a spoof on '90s educational games like Sonic's Schoolhouse, IM Meen, and 3D Dinosaur Adventure, featuring cheesy graphics and ideas. The first beta version of Baldi's Basics was released on March 31, 2018, for Windows and macOS. The whole game, including all features and the main gameplay, was released for early access on June 12, 2020, under the name Baldi's Basics Plus.
In order to avoid being late and "rehearsing," the protagonist's friend had to ask the protagonist to retrieve seven notebooks that he had left at the local school. First thing the player does upon arrival is meet an instructor named Baldi, who, whenever he finds a notepad, will give him three simple math problems. A reward awaits the player who masters all of these challenges. In addition to being a very irritated character, Baldi will begin following the player if they provide the wrong answer after the teacher has given them a job to do. The protagonist has to keep avoiding other students and obstacles while searching for every other notepad. In a different ending, the player must defeat a distorted Baldi and another secret character who makes them destroy the game before it ends automatically if they choose to answer every question incorrectly.
