Sikali Jatra at Khokana

Sikali temple is dedicated to Sikali, sister of Dakshinkali. Sikali jatra is celebrated for 5 days. People who don't celebrate dashain, they perform jatra in this temple. A wooden chariot of Goddess Rudrayani is carried on the street and finally bring to this temple. The precession is led by local priest wearing white robe. The temple is surrounded by hills and forest. The road is not pitched. There is local bus upto khokana or Bhaisepati. You have to walk around 2.6 km from Bhaisepati if you are taking local bus. You can get car or bike but the road are too dusty to get from bike. There is a small temple for Ganesh and a small pond near to the temple.
