बारुदी सुरुंग प्रतिबन्ध अभियान नेपालले आज मिति ३० डिसेम्बर २०२२ मा बारुदी सुरुंग तथा ल्कस्टर बम अनुगमन प्रतिवेदन २०२२ सार्वजनिक गर्यो । उक्त कार्यक्रममा संसदिय मंचलाई पुनगर्ठन गर्ने, जनप्रतिनिधिहरुलाई जवाफदेही बनाउने र संसदमा छलफल गराउने, एनसिबियलले तयार पारेको प्रतिवद्धता पत्रलाई पुनर्लेखन गर्ने र नयाँ राजनीतिक पार्टीहरुलाई प्रतिवद्धता जनाउन लगाउने, सत्यनिरुपण तथा मेल मिलाप आयोगले तयार पारेको पीडित तथा पीडकको परिभाषालाई सच्याउन दवाव दिने, पीडितहरुको न्यायको आवाजलाई उठाउने, युद्धका अवशेषहरुको खतरालाई पूर्णरुपमा समाप्त पार्न त्यसलाई खोजतलास र नष्ट गर्नको निम्ति दवाव दिने, कानूनलाई बलियो बनाउने, जोखिम शिक्षालाई समुदायमा निरन्तरता दिने, तथ्यांकलाई अध्याबधिक गर्ने, निर्णय गर्ने निकायमा पीडितहरुको भुमिका बढाउने तथा नेतृत्व स्थापित गर्ने, युवा विद्यार्थीहरुलाई यस बिषयमा जागरण ल्याउने र थेसिस लेख्नको लागि प्रेरित गर्ने जस्ता बिषयमा छलफल भयो ।

बारुदी सुरुंग तथा बिष्फोटक पदार्थ बिरुद्धको संसदिय मंचका संयोजक माननीय शेरबहादूर तामांगको अध्ययतामा भएको उक्त कार्यक्रममा एनसिबिएलका संयोजक पूर्णशोभा चित्रकारले अनुगमन प्रतिवेदनका मुख्य बुँदाहरु प्रस्तुत गर्नु भएको थियो भने त्रिभुवन विश्वबिद्यालय, व्दन्द र शान्ति विभागका प्रमुख प्रोफेसर पिताम्बरले मन्तव्य दिनु भएको थियो । उक्त कार्यक्रमा विभिन्न राजनीतिक पार्टीको तर्फबाट प्रतिनिधित्व हुने गरी संघ र प्रदेशका सांसदहरु, संघसंस्थाका प्रतिनिधिहरु, व्दन्दरत सवैक्षेत्रका पीडितहरु, बिश्वद्यिालयका विद्यार्थीहरुको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो ।

The Landmine Ban Campaign Nepal released the Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor Report 2022 on 30 December 2022. In that program the following topics has been discussed.

·         Recognize the Parliamentary Forum against Landmines and Explosives (PFaLE), new elected members of parliament will lead the forum.

·         To make people's representatives accountable and discuss the treaty issue in the parliament.

·         Rewriting the Letter of Commitment prepared by NCBL and collect signatures from new political parties.

·         To put pressure to the Truth and Reconciliation  Commission to correct the definition of victim and perpetrator,

·         To raise the voice of justice for the victims,

·         To put pressure for completely eliminate the threat of remnants of war,

·         To strengthen the law against landmines and any kind of explosives

·         To continue risk education in the community,

·         To upgrade statistics of use, transfer, incident and their destruction.

·         To increase the role of victims in decision-making bodies and to establish leadership,

·         To raise awareness to this issue to young students and encourage to write a thesis on the conventions and mine action activities.

In the event chaired by Honorable Sher Bahadur Tamang, Coordinator of Parliamentary Forum against Landmines and Explosives. NCBL Coordinator Purna Shova Chitrakar presented the major findings of the Landmine Monitor Report and Cluster Munition Monitor Report 2022. Professor Pitambar Bhandari, head of Tribhuvan University, Conflict and Peace Department, delivered a speech. The program was represented by members of parliament of various political parties, representatives of organizations, victims from all sectors, and university students.
