Sano Pashupati or Mahindreswor temple is situated in Makhan tole of Kathmandu and hence derives its name ‘Makhan Pashupati’. It is a two-storey pagoda style temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. At the entrance to the temple, there's a 4.5 feet tall gold-plated idol of Lord Shiva (with his trident) and Nandi atop. An image of Nandi and Narayan also be seen around the main temple.
