Chilancho Bihar is situated on the eastern side of Kirtipur. One have to walk about 20 minutes from Panga, Kirtipur. The Chaitya is believed to have been built by Emperor Asoka of India. The sculptured carvings of Buddha surrounding the white dome and Bajra in front of the main temple charms this Bihar. Both Hindu and Buddhist visit this temple. On right side of the stupa, there are two small rocks which is believed to be swoyambhu and guheswori and prayer praying in front of the image. It is believed from that place, people could view swoyambhu stupa so there's a small hole infront of the house.
