Import tax for Ships, boats and floating structures in Nepal

According to section XVII, Import duty rate in Nepal for cruise ships, excursion boats, ferry-boats, cargo ships, barges and similar vessels for the transport of persons or goods, Tugs and pusher craft is 5%. Similarly, Light-vessels, fire-floats, dredgers, floating cranes, and other vessels the navigability of which is sub-sidiary to their main function; floating docks; floating or submersible drilling or production platforms, Other vessels, including warships and lifeboats other than rowing boats is 7.25% if import from SAARC countries and 15% if import from other countries in general.
