Customs tariff for Printed books, newspapers, pictures and other products of the printing industry; manuscripts, typescripts and plans in Nepal

In Nepal, custom duty rate for Printed books, brochures, leaflets and similar printed matter, whether or not in single sheet is 5% but Newspapers, journals and periodicals, whether or not illustrated or containing advertising material is free. Similarly, custom duty rate for Maps and hydrographic or similar charts of all kinds, including atlases, wall maps, topographical plans and globes, printed is 6% within SAARC countries and 10% wihtin other countries in general.
