Custom duty for Ores, slag and ash in Nepal

Import duty for Iron ores and concentrates, including roasted iron pyrites, Manganese ores and concentrates, including ferruginous manganese ores and concentrates with a manganese content of 20% or more, calculated on the dry weigh, Copper, Nickel, Cobalt, Aluminium, Lead, Zinc, Tin, Chromium, Tungsten, Uranium or thorium, Molybdenum, Titanium ores and concentrates, Niobium, tantalum, vanadium or zirconium, Silver ores and concentrate is 6% for SAARC countries and 10% for other countries.

Similarly, Granulated slag (slag sand) from the manufacture of iron or steel, Slag, dross (other than granulated slag), scalings and other waste from the manufacture of iron or steel is Rs 500 per meter within SAARC countries and other general countries. Also Silicates; commercial alkali metal silicates has import duty of 7.25% within SAARC countries and 15% for general.
