Customs tariff for Sugars and sugar confectionery

Under section IV, chapter 17 of Import tax rate in Nepal for Sugars and sugar confectionery, import duty for Cane or beet sugar and chemically pure sucrose, in solid form like Sakhar(Gud), Khanda Sugar, rock candy, sugar cube is 40% for SAARC countries and 40% for other countries in general. The import duty for beet sugar is comparatively less than other sugar. It imposes 6% for SAARC countries and 40% for other countries.
