My name is Gauri Bhatta from Maidi in Dhading district. I lost my husband. After being a single, I faced a lot of challenges in my family and society as other women do face in such traditional society.

My philosophy is pushed me always to be active in socially and economically. I joined various training. After getting involve in social activities as a health volunteer, social mobilizer, trainer the family members and society paid attention to me and respect me. Now I am happy and feel empower.
