Bajra Barahi Temple
Bajra Barahi temple is one of the four famous barahi temples located at Chapagaun in Lalitpur. This is the temple of the boar headed Goddess on a human body who is commonly known as Barahi, the boar avatar of Lord Bishnu. Both Hindus and Budhhists worship this temple. It is two storied temple with no pinnacle. The temple is surrounded by a huge forest. Locals believe that fallen woods and leaves from the forest should remain there, if they are brought outside the temple zone, the person will be cursed. Devotees visit this temple on Tuesday and Friday.
