Bangalamukhi Temple
Bangalamukhi temple is situated in Patan of Nepal. It is one of the religious temple of Nepal which enshrines Goddess Bhagawati. It is believed to have appeared after people prayed to save them from demon.
Various small temples of other gods and goddesses like Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, goddess Manakamana, etc can be found inside the temple premises. A big temple of Lord Shiva is situated in front of the Baglamukhi temple. Also, there is one pond each, inside and outside of the temple both of which has stone taps. This temple is specially crowded on Thursdays and Saturdays. The devotees often burn lakh batti (1 lakh cotton wicks) or ghee Pala Batti (butter lamps) to get their wishes fulfilled .
