Some Wise Words
• Carry a hand sanitizer with you.
• Take some medication for upset stomach (just in case).
• You might find some of the food spicy, ask beforehand in case you aren’t ready for it.
• Do not give money or food to the beggars and/or the children.
• Keep your bags close to you. Do not put your wallets and/or phones in your back pocket. Nepal is generally safe but it does not hurt to be careful.
• Be extra careful while crossing the streets.
• Take a map.
• It is cheaper to pay in Nepali Rupees than in USD.
• It might be a good idea to carry a credit card that offers free international withdrawl.
