This place is famous for Pitri Tarpan. Many people pay a homage to the Shiva-Mahadeva of this temple to remember and honor their ancestors. It is a three storeyed pagoda style temple with a huge Trishul (Trident) and Damaru (small two-headed drum that is meant to be an instrument of Lord Shiva) in front of the temple.
