Bindyabasini Temple
located on a small hill in the North of Pokhara, is one of the most popular temples, with many Hindus and Buddhist devotees visiting all year round. The temple is at Moharia Tole, a 20 minute walk from downtown Pokhara. All means of local transport are available to get to the temple.
On Saturdays, large numbers of people come to make special puja worship. At the foot of the temple is a small garden where visitors can relax, it has lush grass, trees and flowers. There is a small pond in the garden with attractive fish of all colors and sizes. The temple is sprawled over a large area, enticing many visitors.
