Today, people can find out about the world through national and international news media. People are educated through this modern technology. Many people in Nepal have become modern in this sense, but many people, most notably girls, do not yet know about or use this technology. Our country is still developing and so cannot inspire all women to learn about this technology. Each girl can become independent, they can be successful. They work more assiduously than boys, can accomplish a lot in their personal and professional lives and can build their own identity. Digital technology helps young women in numerous ways, such as share ideas, help them with work and conduct other day-to-day activities.

Today, technology has made our world smaller/closer. We can now instantly know about incidents occurring around the world. Its influence has spread to Nepal as well. Digital advocacy is important in Nepal's context. With digital technology a woman can travel around the world without support, and walk forward, challenging male-dominated society. It is important for the upliftment and empowerment of women.

Young Women are defined as teenage girls between the ages of 13 and 19. This generation of women is still far behind men in the social hierarchy. Web technology is just being introduced in Nepal: it is new for the people of Nepal to use the Internet like this. Digital advocacy for women is to support women to do digital programming. This programme helps women stand in this “World of computers and new Technology”. It helps women to make a place for themselves in society and to have self confidence in competition with boys.

Digital programming is a versatile skill-set that can accomplish many things. In the Nepali scene, most circumstances see only boys learning this skill-set and not girls. Girls are put into domestic walls, forced into doing only domestic chores. Even this century, which has witnessed massive technological breakthroughs, fails to bring the freedom that has been granted to boys. Boys are encouraged to do things that girls are not. When girls receive this technical information, they will learn and then teach others. It has been said that small drops can make an ocean. Woman can learn and teach others: family, friends and continue this chain of teaching and learning. They can advocate this subject so that it gains momentum.
