Kal Mochan

Kal Mochan is a big white temple in Tripureshwor. The temple was construct in 1874 on the bank of Bagmati river and was used as a Ghat (Hindu creamation place) like Pashupatinath. KalMochan Mahadev is also know as Narayan Than, the place of lord Vishnu. You can visit Kalmochan temple for free and discover around: the life of sadhu’s, more Hindu mandir and some monkeys.

This is the temple of lord Vishnu. The statue of lord Vishnu, Laxmi, Saraswoti and Garuda is magnificent. There is a long pillar where the statue of Jung Bahadur Rana., stands tall and proud.
