Chhinnamasta Temple - Changu Narayan

Located in the courtyard of Changu Narayan Temple. The temple in the southeast corner of the complex is dedicated to the Tantric goddess Chhinnamasta devi, who beheaded herself, offered her own blood to feed the the bloodthirsty deities Dakini and Varnini.

In the festival of Changu Naryan Mul Rath Yatra. Kileshwor and Chhinnamasta also taken on chariots on the occasion.
