RATO MACHCHHINDRANATH

The tall and divine chariots of Rato Machchhindranath parked at Lagankhel. Rato Machhendranath Jatra is the longest festival celebrated by the people of both faiths; Hindus and Buddhists, throughout the Kathmandu valley to worship and to please the Rain-god so that they can have plenty of rainfall for the good growth of their crops.
