WODES/NCBL Relief team, on their visit to the Sidhupalchowk district, realized that the effects of the Great Quake would persist for a very long time. The narrow roads between high hills and big rivers were constantly tormented by frequent aftershocks. Thunderstorms and heavy rain presented themselves as major challenges at nights.

People in the Sindhupalchowk district have worked hard to create temporary shelters. Some are safe, while others not so much. Some were even living in high cliffs.
