Krishna Mandir Temple
The Krishna temple on the west side of Patan's Darbar square was built in 1637. It is built by King Siddhi Narasingh Malla. He also built a replica of the temple inside the Sundari Chowk courtyard. The Krishna temple is built in the Shikhara style. There are 21 golden pinnacles in which18 pinnacles symbolizes the 18 chapters of Geeta and other 3 pinnacles represents past, present and future. Beneath its pinnacles, there are three floors. The first floor enshrines Krishna, the second Shiva, and the third Lokeshwor. Many peoples visit this temple during Krishna Astami in the month of August.
