Layeku Bahi
The three storeyed shrine of the Kwapa-dya of Layku Bahi houses a large stone icon of Aksobhya facing east. The entrance has two stone lions and a metal arch for oil lamps. The torana (or tympanum) of the main shrine door is beautiful and portrays Gautam Buddha’s return to Lumbini – among those that come to pay their respects are gods Indra, Shiva and Brahma.
