Team Nepal Wins Two Awards In ABU ROBOCON 2015

ABU ROBOCON 2015 was held on 23rd August at Yogyakatra, Indonesia. The Badminton playing robots made by the students from Robotics Club, Pulchowk Campus wins two awards in this contest. 19 teams from 18 countries participated in this contest where the team from Vietnam University Hung Yen Techedu won the ABU ROBOCON Grand Prix defeating Thailand by 5-1 in the finals. Although Nepal lost to the likes of China (5-3) and Iran (5-2), Nepali students won the awards' MABUCHI MOTOR AWARD' and 'BEST IDEA AWARD' for the unique innovation and outcome based on limited resources.
