The main gate to the Hanuman Dhoka Durbar was built during Pratap Malla’s time but it was gold plated by Bhimsen Thapa in early nineteenth century later. Above the gate is a panel with individual niches of figurines of Vishworup,Krishna, Rukmi and Satyabhama, among others.
