Moving Statues In Geogia



23 foot tall moving steel sculpture of a Man and woman was designed by a Georgian artist, Tamara Kvesitadze. “The Statue of Love” presents the 1937 novel Ali and Nino about the tragic love of a Muslim Azerbaijani boy and Christian Georgian princess. The tragic story ends with the lovers separated by the invasion of Soviet Russia. It is controlled by computer, the humongous kinetic statues begin to move every day at 7 p.m. After 10 minutes the movement is complete.
