बिजेश्वरी मन्दिर
बिजेश्वरी मन्दिर काठमाडौंको बिजेश्वरीमा रहेको छ । यो ०.०९ किलोमिटर लामो छ । यस मन्दिरलाई विशेषगरी बौद्ध धर्मले मान्ने गर्छन् । शोभा भगवती मन्दिर नजिक रहेको यो मन्दिरमा धेरै पुरातात्विक महत्व रहेको पाइन्छ । चैत्यहरुले यस मन्दिरलाई सुसज्जित बनाएका छन् । फोटो: @pramin.osiris

Swet Bhairav
The temple of Swet Bhairav is one of the eight Bhairav temples which is situated in Basantapur of Kathmandu. It is kept hidden inside a wooden curtain throughout the year, and taken out only during the festival of Indra Jatra. It is built to protect the city form all threats. It is the most dangerous form of Lord Shiva. Traditional Nepali liquor and rice beer is distributed from a pipe coming out of the mouth of Bhairav during Indra Jatra. Photo Courtesy: @pramin.osiris

Kaal Bhairav
Situated in North Western part of the Hanumandhoka Royal Palace, the idol of kaal Bhairav made from black stone is considered to be one of the terrifying aspect of Lord Shiva. It has no temple to house it so it is regarded as a unique temple among all the temples in Nepal. The idol stands 12 feet tall over a dead body and wears a garland of human skull. It is believed to be built in Medieval Period and criminals were punished in front of this idol. Many criminals confessed their crime when they were placed in front of this idol. त्रिपुरेश्वर महादेव
काठमाडौंको त्रिपुरेश्वरमा कालमोचनघाटको नजिकै प्रसिद्ध त्रिपुरेश्वरको मन्दिर छ । तीन तलाको छाना भएको यस मन्दिरलाई उपत्यकाको सबैभन्दा ठूलो मन्दिर मानिन्छ । यो मन्दिर इसाको उन्नाइसौं शताब्दीमा ललितत्रिपुरसुन्दरी देवीले स्थापना गर्न लगाएकी हुन् । यस मन्दिरका तीन वटा छानामध्ये माथिका दुईटामा धातुको पाता मोरिएको छ भने तलको एउटा टुँडाल र तोरण ज्यादै आकर्षक छन् । त्रिपुरेश्वर महादेवका रुपमा मन्दिरभित्र रहेको शिवलिगंमा पूजाआजा हुने गर्दछ । मन्दिरको छेउछाउमा विष्णु, सूर्य, गणेश र देवीका मूर्तिहरु पनि छन् । यहाँ बालाचतुदर्शी, शिवरात्री र साउनभर भक्तहरुको भीड लाग्दछ ।[Raju Nepal, "Nepal: Each place a holy place.
